Today’s interview is with Amy, a Canadian expat who is living in UK. Amy is a Canadian freelancer who’s recently relocated to England via Australia and Ireland, while writing an expat blog along the way at notesfromanotherland.com. She has been an expat for five years and she shares her candid conversations with strangers, observations of new surroundings, and overseas adventures as her and her Irish husband build their life together abroad.

Today’s interview is with Ariana, an American expat who is living in UK. Ariana Mullins is a licensed massage therapist, freelance photographer, real food enthusiast, world traveler, and creator of the blog, And Here We Are… She has made her way to England via Oregon, Germany, Los Angeles, and the Philippines.

My name is Helena and I’m the writer behind Fountain of Travel. I grew up in a pretty small village in Sweden and have loved travelling for as long as I can remember. I was pretty set on moving abroad at some point and that point came when I finished upper secondary school and moved to Denmark for college. I stayed in Denmark for two years but didn’t love it so moved to Manchester, UK as a student.

My name is Alessandra and I am a Brazilian expat living in London. I decided to move overseas about 10 years ago, when my desire to explore became much larger than the comforts of home. In fact, since I’ve known myself as a person, I have always loved traveling. I was born in the countryside of Brazil and always felt that there was much more to the world than just staying in that small town.

I am a 29 year old (oh gosh, can’t imagine I am almost 30) world lover. I was born in the capital of Romania during the communist regime, but I grew up in the beautiful town of Sibiu, in Transylvania. After I finished highschool I moved back to Bucharest, to live with my grandma and follow the courses of the Journalism University.

She fell in love with England on her first visit in 1988, as a college freshman, and kept saving her pennies to make return visits. In 1995, after completing her MA, she made her 3rd return visit on a BUNAC visa, and met her future husband.
